This policy explains what information peninsulacregroup.com collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Please read it before you use the site.
Who This Policy Covers
This website is owned and operated by Peninsula Commercial Real Estate Group, a California corporation (“Peninsula CRE Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This policy applies to peninsulacregroup.com and to the information you send us through it. It applies to every visitor, whether you are a prospective client, a current client, a property owner, a broker, a vendor, or a member of the public.
Peninsula CRE Group is a licensed California real estate brokerage:

Information You Give Us
You do not have to give us any personal information to browse this website. You choose what to send us.
When you fill out a form on this site, you give us information such as your name, your email address, your phone number, your company name, and your answers to the short qualifying questions on the form.
When you email us or call us, you give us whatever is in that message. That may include details about your space, your lease, your timing, or your business.
Please do not send confidential, privileged, or sensitive information through this website. Messages sent through this site are not secure. Do not send Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or similar sensitive data through any form or email link on this site.
Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, this site records basic technical information when you visit.
That information can include your IP address, your browser type, your device type, your operating system, the pages you view, the time and date of your visit, and the website or search that sent you here.
This information is collected by our web host and by any analytics tools running on the site. It is used to keep the site working, to keep it secure, and to understand how visitors move through it. We do not use it to try to identify you personally.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
This website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device.
Cookies keep the site working properly, remember basic preferences, and help us measure how the site is used. Some cookies are set by us. Others are set by services we rely on, such as our web host, our analytics provider, and our email platform.
You control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you block cookies, delete cookies, or warn you before one is set. If you block cookies, parts of this site may not work the way they should.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiry and follow up with you
- Understand what you are looking for so we can tell you whether we can help
- Send you emails about our services, including a regular email update
- Provide services under a signed representation agreement, if we enter one
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve this website
- Keep records of our communications
- Meet our legal, regulatory, and California Department of Real Estate obligations
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not build profiles about you for sale or resale.
Email Communication and How to Opt Out
When you submit a form on this site, your information is added to our email list in Mailchimp. There is no second confirmation email. Submitting the form is what adds you.
From there, two things happen. Someone from Peninsula CRE Group reaches out to you directly. You are also added to a regular email update about commercial real estate topics and our services.
You can stop those emails at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and you are removed. You can also email [email protected] and ask to be removed, and we will take you off the list.
Unsubscribing stops marketing email. We may still contact you directly about an inquiry you sent us or about an active engagement.
Phone Calls and Text Messages
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call you or text you about your inquiry and about our services.
Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You can ask us to stop calling or texting at any time by replying STOP to a text, by telling us on a call, or by emailing [email protected].
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it.
We share information only in the situations below:
- Service providers. Companies that run parts of our business share information with us and hold information for us. This includes our email platform, Mailchimp, our website host, and similar vendors. They may use the information only to perform the service they provide to us.
- Professional advisors. Our attorneys, accountants, and insurers, when there is a legitimate business reason.
- Transaction parties. If you become a client under a signed representation agreement, we share what is needed to carry out that engagement. That can include sharing your contact information and requirements with landlords, listing brokers, property owners, and their advisors.
- Legal requirements. When a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or government or Department of Real Estate request requires it.
- Protection of rights. When we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Peninsula CRE Group, our clients, or the public, or to investigate suspected fraud or misuse of this website.
- Business transfer. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction.
Information You Share During an Engagement
Information you share with us before a signed representation agreement is in place is not confidential, and we owe you no duty of confidentiality. This is explained in our Terms of Service.
Once a written representation agreement is signed by both you and Peninsula CRE Group, that agreement and California real estate law govern how your information is handled during the engagement. Where that agreement and this policy differ, the signed agreement controls.
Third-Party Websites and Platforms
This website may link to sites, listing platforms, review platforms, and services run by other companies.
We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. When you leave this website, this policy no longer applies. Read the privacy policy of any site you visit before you give it your information.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep the information you send us for as long as we have a business reason to keep it, and for as long as our legal, tax, and Department of Real Estate recordkeeping obligations require.
Contact and inquiry records may be kept even if you unsubscribe from our emails, so we have a record of what was requested and what was sent. You may ask us to delete your information, and we will do so where the law allows.
How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold.
No website, no email system, and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot promise that information sent to us over the internet will always stay private. You send it to us at your own risk. This is another reason not to send sensitive information through this website.
Your California Privacy Rights
California residents have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. Those rights include:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared it with
- The right to access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- The right to correct personal information about you that is inaccurate
- The right to delete personal information we collected from you, with the exceptions the law allows
- The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law
- The right to limit how sensitive personal information is used. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website
- The right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you used a privacy right
To make a request, email [email protected] or call +1 626-421-9465 and tell us what you want. We will ask for enough information to confirm who you are before we act, and we will only use that information to handle your request. An authorized agent may make a request for you with written permission that we can verify.
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents may also ask us once a year for a list of personal information we shared with third parties for their own direct marketing use. We do not share personal information for that purpose. Send any such request to [email protected].
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is still no common standard for how websites should respond to it, so this website does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Where an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control is required to be honored under California law, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for the browser and device that sent it.
Children’s Privacy
This website is built for business use and is not directed to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Visitors Outside the United States
This website is operated from the United States and our services are offered only in California.
If you visit this site from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from the laws where you live. By using this site, you agree to that transfer.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, the revised policy replaces the prior version on this page.
Your continued use of this website after a revised policy is posted means you accept it. Check this page periodically so you know the policy that applies to you.
